Devlix

A course platform installed for one institution.

Its own name, its own domain, its own database, on a server nothing else shares. Students find the lecture they need. Administrators see who did what.

What is included One installation per institution.

Lectures

Find it without asking anyone.

Material sits where the programme puts it, so nobody hunts a chat history for a file posted in March. PDFs are annotated in the browser and videos play in it.

  • PDFannotated in place, saved per member
  • Videoplayed inline, no download
  • Filesattachments and links per lecture

Quizzes

They mark themselves.

Questions with images, multiple attempts if you allow them, and a result the student sees immediately. Nobody grades a hundred papers to tell somebody they got question four wrong.

  • Automarked on submit
  • Imagesin questions and options
  • Attemptskept, with what was answered

Content

Organised the way a programme runs.

Year, term, specialty, subject, lecture. Not folders somebody invented, and not a naming convention that survives only as long as the person who wrote it.

  • 7years
  • 29terms
  • 132specialties
  • 13subjects

Members

Nobody gets in unreviewed.

Registrations arrive pending. An administrator approves them, and until then the account cannot sign in. Roles decide who may change what, and an address can be banned outright.

  • Approveeach registration, with the ID card sent
  • Rolespermissions per role, not per person
  • Banby member, email, university ID or address

Activity

Every change, with who and when.

Who approved that member, who deleted that lecture, who changed that setting, and from which address. Kept on disk as well as in the database, so it can be read on the day the database is what broke.

  • 90dkept by default, configurable
  • Exportthe log, filtered, as a file
  • Addressthe visitor's own, not the proxy's

It is your installation, not your account on ours.

One server per institution. Nothing is shared, because there is nothing to share it with.

Your domain

Served on your own address, with your name, colour and logo. Students see their school.

Your database

Your data is not mixed with anyone else's. There is no other institution on the machine.

Backed up nightly

And restored on a schedule, because a backup nobody has restored is a belief rather than a backup.

Watched from outside

Checked from elsewhere, so a fault is noticed before a student reports it.

One price per institution

Everything below is included. No tiers, and nothing held back for a higher one.

  • Your own installation on its own server, with your domain and branding
  • Unlimited members and unlimited content
  • Lectures, quizzes, annotation and the full admin console
  • Nightly backups, restored on a schedule, kept off your server
  • Monitoring and updates, applied for you
  • Setup and migration of the material you already have
